His theory had been to give the overpowered shot, coupled with the attacks of his Bretheren, to the shields, which should have overpowered the generators, forcing them to either shut down or explode. But nothing had happened. Nothing. Nothing!

In fact, now that he thought about it, that was strange in itself. Though the ionic fireworks had appeared at the shot, the shields did not move or react otherwise. A normal energy-field shield would have reacted in some way, rippling across it's surface, glowing at impact, fluctuating in power...something. But none of this had happened. It was not normal. It didn't make sense. He thought for a moment. Fluctuate... With this thought, he brought up his Mecha's external sensors and internal computers online, using part of the power generated in the T'challa drive. "Scan the energy fluctuation of the enemy vessel's shields." The computer was silent for a moment, then brought up an image of the fluctuation, which was flatlined. The computer clicked in the Kell'rah language the results: massive amounts of energy was being put out, but none of it was fluctuated. Ba'al made the connection in his head. This was new; a technology unknown to all but the humans.

Mother, if they could gain this technology, would be pleased.

The only way to 'fix it' is to satiate your lust with a fight...unfortunenly, I am afraid that our fight will wait, for our efforts to defeat this ship will be futile...the shields are unlike anything we have seen, practically impenetrable by our weapons...
