Neither Abagail nor Walter had witnessed the door being pulled open, still there he was, Niclas Elberich, head investigator of the Thule-Gesellschaft, the scourge of Berlin. Walter and Abagail broke their conversation and looked up toward the front door. The mysterious man was shadowed against the cold dark night outside and the warm fire illuminated interior. Once they had adjusted to the unexpected presence they found themselves starring at a man of average height, but with a sinister stature. The Nazi officer was clad in the traditional black Nazi attire, with a long trench coat and black gloves. Walter looked down at the floor and noticed the mans hard soled black officer shoes, the very same ones which had gathered so much attention at the airport. Niclas wore a dark suit under his trench coat and so Walter could not see the rest of his body, but he did notice the heavy black colored tattoo on the mans neck, something which Walter assumed to be a very uncommon feature on an SS officer.
