Requiem Gray; White Knight # 1
When she heard Cade walk up to her and hand her the warm drink of caffeine and coffee, she smiled only slightly and she downed it slowly. The warmth made her soul feel lighter in a way; or perhaps that was her imagination. She watched as he walked off, seeming to be in a chipper mood and she could only flex her fingers on her left hand as she held the drink in her right and continued to slowly drink it and she looked around before taking another sip.
But soon; her phone rang and she slowly picked it up. "Yeah?" When she heard Christian's voice about urgent business; her heart seemed to surge lightly but it was nothing new. "Alright. I'll be there in a few minutes." she said, hanging up and tucking her phone into the right pocket of her dress. She quickly walked down the hallway, her hands still slightly blood stained and a few drops of red staining her dress from the previous torture. Usually she'd change but she didn't have time as she made her way towards the king's office.
When she finally reached it she opened the door after some soft knocks and she walked inside, looking at all who had gathered there. "Alright. I'm here. What's the urgent news or are we waiting to get to that part?" she asked, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed in a serious way as her expression was focused. She always listened.
