Lumikko realized what was nagging him. He hadn't seriously considered at first, but he realized the feeling he was getting from the woman was that of necromancer's bonded servant.

He briefly wondered why they would be that overt, but then remembered that such a thing would only be overt to him, another necromancer. And they wouldn't have been expecting someone like him to be working against them on this mission. His smile broadened. This would give him something of a slight advantage, at least until they were able to figure out who he was. If that was the case, he would need to avoid contact with them and send Rexy out to do his dirty work.

He decided to casually make his way to the other side of the area, so he could return to his own room.

RX78 had been fairly bored remaining in the room. Lumikko had advised against trying to contact him while he was "scouting" because he didn't want to be suspiciously talking into his lapel. She had opted to begin sorting through the necromancer's baggage, to make certain that all of his equipment would be available immediately should he need it.

She was halfway done when she found a duffle bag full of padding, and in the midst of it, a rather ominous looking skull. She picked it up. Just touching the thing, she felt a tingle. Could this be some kind of necromantic artifact? The jawbone was attached by some strange shadowy substance that mimicked tendon. She examined it a moment longer, when suddenly its teeth chattered, and a hollow-sounding word slip out between them. "Sup."

RX78 considered herself to be rather unflappable, but even she was startled and dropped the skull with a gasp. It rolled along the floor with an irritating wail. The absurdity of this cancelled her shock and she walked over and picked up the skull again. "What the heck are you?" she asked.

"Name's Ross," it replied. "And I see the boss neglected to put me together again before starting. He always does that. You mind helping me out?"

"Uh, sure..." she dug through the other bags and pulled out the rest of the skeleton, laying it on the bed following Ross' directions. Upon being laid next to each other, a mess of shadow-tendon formed around the other bones and Ross was whole once more.

"Well, now. Guess it's time to go look around, eh?" He clacked his teeth again.

"You can't go out there like that! This is a cruise ship!"

"Oh, right. In cognito." He began looking through the bags. "I'll just see if the boss packed any good disguise stuff in here..."

RX78 could hardly believe this. On the one hand, she wasn't stuck in here alone anymore. On the other hand... Lumikko's servant seemed certifiably insane.
