Mio stared at the boy that had taken her hand and then as quickly as he had appeared, disappeared. She frowned a bit, but without even a single word she had understood. She saw that same exact pain in his eyes that she saw in the mirror reflected back at her in her own eyes. Every pain, every moment of suffering, every bit of guilt, hate, longing, and hope. He understood it. There was no need to say anything. There weren't enough words to describe their feelings, but she wanted to talk to him more. Make a friend. He seemed as if he too was put into this host project. Perhaps he had answers.
Mio suddenly snapped out of her daze. She must look silly right now. "Um... please excuse me.. Thank you for having dinner with me. That was very kind..." she said. With that, she was out the door and had rushed to her room. She threw herself on the big fluffy bed and cried. All the pain rushing back to meet her. So, she just laid there. For how long, she wasn't sure, but the next thing she knew, she heard loud music playing and it felt as if the whole resort was shaking. "What the...?" she wiped the tears from her eyes and listened. It was so strange.. When she first arrived, almost no one was here except for a hand full of guests and the staff. Now it sounded like the place was overflowing with people. Well, in any case, it sounded like one hell of a party. Be a good chance to clear her head. Going through her clothes, she picked out some short jean shorts, and a maroon tank top to throw on. Adjusting the bow in her hair, she slipped out of her room and made her way towards the sound. Eventually, she found herself in a huge banquet hall now turned into a club just off the the mainroom.
Mio whistled. This was going to fun.
