Emily froze at the striking of a match and new light. A door. She moved over to it her hand shaking as it reached out to touch the door. She placed her hand on the old fashioned knob and asked "Wh-who's there?" she closed her eyes and took a deep breath and turned. She hesitate before pushing the door open and leaning back a bit almost as if she expected someone to jump around the corner at her. Nothing. She swallowed hard and exhaled as she took a step into the library. She kept her eyes closed, afraid to open them. She took another deep breath an on the exhale she opened her eyes.
