Anna was fearing the end of class, it was a yet another chance for people to tease her. She hated the teasing, but it was better than the beatings that her father gave her at times. She spared a glance to Mona again, thinking that she would have to be fast to escape whatever the other girl had in store for her. Anna knew that Mona hadn't stopped the teasing from before because she didn't like them doing it. Mona had stopped it, because Mona liked to tease Anna even worse. She looked to the table and groaned softly, sensing that Mona would be especially harsh on her today.
