Bordeaux Town Jail: April 19, 1455: 11:34 pm

Duke and eleven others had been in this dark and damp jail for nearly a month collectively. Some of them had been here longer than others, which included Duke, Abel, Ariane and Evelyn. That was why they were together in this cell. This was helpful because they could speak about what they should do to escape. It had taken twenty days to finally have contact with anyone out of the group that hadn't been convicted of witchcraft, and once they finally spoke with Daniel, a younger member of the group, they now had the plan set to escape from this place and leave the town.

Daniel had been asked to go talk to Duke's wife, Celeste, and tell her to break them out at night on this very day. When Celeste breaks them out, the group would travel quickly to the ports of Bordeaux and then set off for a better land. It would be a matter of minutes before Celeste would arrive if Daniel had listened to the group. He seemed loyal, and Duke didn't have many doubts that this wouldn't work out.

"It should be soon everyone," Duke said to the rest of the group anxiously awaiting to break free. He had grown very weak from this month of little food and poor treatment. The air was so musty that many of them still had colds from the air in here. He could tell that the rest of this group was feeling the same way, and was desperately hoping that this would work for the sake of the group.

Duke stood up slowly and walked over to the barred wall that looked out to the rest of the jail. The gaurd was ofcourse asleep, like usual. The night gaurd always fell asleep once it was ten at night. It was pretty sad, but Duke thought it to be a lot better. Once Celeste got down here it'd be so easy to take the keys that she wouldn't even need to shift. It was the gaurds in front of the building that would be hard to get past.
