Fearing that he would not have much to offer up and assistance to solve this riddle Walter took his cue from Abigail, who was far more knowledgeable in the area of Irish mythology. Walter was however fairly knowledgeable in the area of Athurian legend and as a result he was aware that there were many old myths and tales concerning a magical item, usually a sword, which are kept hidden in certain mystical lakes and are only bestowed to a righteous individual. Could there be similar themes running through the myths and legends associated with the sword of Fraegarthach.
