A head rested on foreclaws, wings collapsed tightly against the body, a wolf tail curled around. The slight breeze trickled into the cave, rustling feathers. Tail giving off a slight twitch would be enough to wake anyone, so long as it belonged to them. Asami opened his eyes, releasing a sigh that if he were human, would have obviously been a yawn. The cynogriffon pushed himself up with his foreclaws into a sitting postion. Through his beack he could smell something on the air.

Opening her eyes was no use, still there was nothing but darkness. She could feel her arm rise up, palm outstretched, but she could not see it. And never will again... Though, for some reason, one that she could not remember, she did not regret it.
