Sue watched quietly as the creature had come back, speaking of some kind of bargain. She wasn't sure it wa sthe best idea, but she guessed she had no say in things considering her dad had just given the thing the book. "So...? My brother and my mom?" she asked, wondering how they could possibly save Brian and find her mom. Oh, how she missed her mother! She wouldn't believe this if they ever found her. Or maybe this was just a bad dream? Sue sure hoped it was, because otherwise life was turning into a nightmare.
