It was Kaden’s second time at Brio. Everything seemed very out of place, too hectic for his tastes. He didn’t like being here longer than he had to. And he was terrified of Judgement’s wrath... Fifty-seven minutes was a long time... Too long...
He tried to remember who he was supposed to ask for. It wasn’t Judgement... Someone from school? No, it was someone here, a waiter perhaps? Aha! It was the manager! Kaden walked up to bar, and asked the person behind the counter (Ren, the name tag said) if he could see the manager. Ren grinned and gestured toward a room in the back, “Ah – the owner’s over there.”
Kaden walked over to the manager, whoever he was, and asked for the back room as directed. The man just pointed him to yet another doorway with a smile. Kaden walked over to it, looking over his shoulder in confusion and opened the door, proceeding to the room where Judgement waited, alone.
