As angry as she was, Emilia couldn't help but laugh at her clumsy boyfriend. No matter how angry she was, he always new how to make her forget all that. Emilia took it in her hands and kissed him back. She turned it over and smiled as she read the back. "My day was..." she began but was cut off by his cell phone ringing. Her face immediately dropped. When he asked her she just nodded her head. It was only a phone call, so why should she be angry? But Marcus was always at work it seemed and she felt he was extremely distant lately and she knew if she ever wanted to make plans he would guarantee them because he never knew if he would get called in or not.

"Right." she smiled agreeing. "I've missed you. I haven't seen you since Tuesday. Work was hectic. Mr. Saunders all most peed on me again. And of course I had to be one of the few selected to do flu shots." she sighed as she recalled her day to him and he listened completely, but she sensed he was thinking about something, maybe work? "Let's take tomorrow off. Go to those hiking trails in Hawan Forest. I know it two hours away but we could go early and go all day. I could pack a picnic with sandwiches and take my camera and..." Emilia knew it was a no as soon as she looked at his face. She knew she would get the routine "Emilia, you know I can't. I wish I could but the company is absolutely thriving and I never know if I'll be asked to go in." Sure he might add something new in there but it was mostly the same.

After they stayed at the Cafe until ten she decided she better get Marcus to take her home. She had a 4 am to 4 pm shift the next day and she loved riding on Marcus's bike, he always carried a spare helmet for her. Once they got over to her place he walked her to the door of her apartment complex and she gave his a light kiss on the left corner of his lips. As he turned and walked down the stairs Emilia blurted out, knowing she wouldn't be able to do it any other way, "Would you like to sleep over?"
