He probably could have took a bit longer on his walk. Delyia really only realized that now, as he walked towards the building, almost automatically. It was like he was in some sort of trance, unaware of what was happening around him at the time. He was in his own little world, with his own views on things. That's how it was all of the time. That's why he was oblivious to things, but still responded. He had no idea what was happening half of the time.

The voice near him almost startled him. He jumped slightly, turning his head to glance over his shoulder to see a slightly familiar face. Raelene. Or as most people called her, just Rae. He looked behind her, seeing a trail of other people following behind her. He continued walking, yet slowed down his pace a bit. Why not waste a bit more time outside of the school?

He shrugged his shoulders casually at her comment, a small smile spreading across his lips.

"Not...really." His light eyes wandered down towards her hand, which was fumbling around with the bracelet on her wrist. He brought his eye contact back to her though soon enough, and continued with what he was saying.

"I guess I could have slept in a bit more. Don't think that I'm actually going to pay attention in class though." Delyia joked playfully. He was quite aware that he did hate certain subjects, avoided them like wildfire. He just barely got a passing mark on most of them, except for Language. There was one exception there. He looked around him briefly, surveyed the area from where he was from. It was kind of nice out today. He almost regretted wearing his dark jacket, even though it was thin and hardly protected him from any cold breeze.
