"Would you like some help cooking? I mean I have some pretty mean cooking skills. So where is Ella at anyway?" Max said from behind her. Devlin jumped and put a hand to her heart in mock shock then grinned at the boy before waving away his offer to help.

“oh, ive got it, I was sorta making it for you guys…Ella is upstairs playing suici—“ she stopped as she saw Ella fall and sighed. She had the urge to run out there and make sure she was okay but hushed it because she knew Ella was fine. She saw her stand, stick her tongue out at someone, Drendal no doubt, and then come into the house joking about him trying to kill her.

“If you weren’t hanging out the window it wouldn’t have happened, right?” D gently chastised her younger sister. She smiled at her none the less and patted her head.

“But since you’re here make yourself useful and please get some plates out” Devlin said with a wide smile.
