He asked her about her uncle and she nodded. "Left me here to rot in this place that cannot help me..and I trusted him." She fought back tears and shook her head, disbelieving. Before she realized it, Tristan had his arms around her in a hug. "I'm sorry, Eden. If you ever want to talk, you can talk to me, okay?" he said to her. That's when the tears began to fall from her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. She hugged him back tightly and cried into his chest. No one had ever really said something like that to her before. For the first time in a long time, someone cared. Thank you, she thought, unable to actually think. She couldn't believe that she couldn't even thank him properly.
