The first thing Abbie noticed before opening her eyes was the cold chill in the air. She heard voices but pushed them to the back of her mind as she opened her eyes and observed her surroundings.
She slowly sat up as she took everything in. From the dim light, she could see cracked, peeling walls and tattered curtains. She swung her legs off the left hand side of the cot & sat there for a moment.
"Hello?" she called out nervously. She stood up and looked at the other people who appeared to be just as confused as herself.
"Does someone mind explaining what in the world is going on?" She asked crossly as she folded her arms. "Is this some kind of joke or something?"
