I smile delightedly, inclining my head to each in turn. It was so like the Winter Kingdom to be prompt. "Well, Frost it shall be!"

Alyxis interrupts. "Did you bring anything with you that would need to be placed in your rooms?"
She was smiling, and I suddenly remembered how well she got along with kids. If Frost, as he preferred to be called, had a soft spot for the twin siblings, it may be that we may be able to get them to get along.
And I had to agree, the children were cute. Especially Fury, who I remember as not having the same characteristic face as the other people of Winter. She seemed to be such a... sunny child, oddly enough.
Alyxis had responded with a slight bow to Frost, and same with Pride and Fury. True, she should really have curtsied, but in her outfit... no, I shall not even think of that. But she was always polite, and accorded everyone the same level of respect, except for when she was angry. I smile wryly, remembering the times we had had to break down the doors to her rooms.
Alyxis turned to stare piercingly at me. I immediately knew that she was aware of what I was thinking. "Mama! How could you!?!"
I laughed. "See, Alyxis is just upset because she has figured out that I am thinking about the times we have had to-"
"Mama!" She yelped.
I continue. "-break down the doors to her rooms."
My daughter sighed. "If you're going to laugh, you might as well." She grumbled, goodnaturedly. Everyone always poked fun of her because of those incidents, but she did have such a bad habit of locking herself in her rooms.
