I smile. "Mama's not busy right now, but if you want to go to your rooms..." I left the invitation hanging.
"There's just a slight problem- you might have some trouble going to your rooms, because the stairs go up and then down. Shall we?" I asked, smiling wider, nervously toying with a pearl earring. A stud. I was, of course, not going to behave very well, and I wasn't sure how Frost, Pride, or Fury, were going to take it. I didn't behave well on most occasions anyway, to hear the court speak. Mother thought that I was just too... blunt.
She smiled. "As it is, I do have to check with the Informal Court to ask about some issues. Something about boundaries of Tempore." She frowned slightly, giving us an apologetic smile, and walked away quietly.
"Now... if I could be like her, there wouldn't be problems." I murmured quietly, to myself.
