Vin clutched at her dagger, only holding the one Beldur gave to her. She occasionally let her fingers run across the blade to feel the engraving; it seemed to comfort her, not only from the fact that she was in mines that were close to pitch black, but also with her confusion with the accusation of her being a mage. There was no way that she was going to accept that that easily, it was impossible.

She sighed, her eyes focusing on the wall to ignore the Darkspawn bodies that littered the floor, making her want to flinch. The eerie sounds of fighting Darkspawn resounding through out the small caverns made her want to end the fighting just so she wouldn't have to listen to it, it made her too jumpy. She jumped when she heard Beldurs voice, irration tears flooding her tear ducts. She quickly wiped away the extra moisture from her eyes before anyone could notice and she nodded, not trusting herself to speak without her voice breaking. Besides, she didn't want to say anything too emotional or intimate around the mage chick, Vin did not like her at all.

She felt strong arms wrap around her torso, the scream catching in her throat when she realized it was Beldur. Voices rung out and Vin was glad that Beldur stopped them before she got in their line of sight. She listened to them, odd to hear about herself from a Darkspawn point of view. Although she didn't enjoy when it ordered the thing not to kill them, it was way too weird. They were always targeted for the kill so why change that now? Why would they need them anyway, apparently it was blood but what would blood have to do with anything?

And at the mention of the mage's cousin, she darted off. Vin wasn't suprised and she nodded at Beldurs words, going in her sheath and pulling out her twin daggers, throwing them at Beldur. If he needed to dispose of Darkspawn without being seen or heard, that was the best way. She left before she even saw if he caught them or not, sneaking in by the shadows. She used to fact that she was light on her feet, knowing her speed would easily catch up to the mage. It was one thing about them that made them weak and it was the fact that physically they were incapable of outruning someome, which at the moment, made Vin happy.

Her eyes peeked at the two Darkspawn talking and her eyes widened, she had never seen bigger ones in her life. She clenched her dagger, hoping that Beldur was alright. From the lack of noise though, she assumed he was. She soon found the mage, whispering something under her breath, probably casting a spell. Vin quickly put her hand over her mouth, muffling the words and stopping her; there was no way she was going to get caught. She heard the mage start to complain, something that Vin wouldn't stand so she did the best thing she did. She put her hand between the muscle of her neck and shoulder and squeezed the joint, making the mage pass out. She supported her now dead weight and hoisted her over her shoulders, using the shadows to get back to Beldur. Before though she saw something that haunted her, a younger female chained up, bleeding. She assumed it was the cousin and Vin pursed her lips, she had obviously been tortured and beaten down; Vin wouldn't allow her to spend another day there.

She found Beldur safe and a smile graced her lips. She placed the girl on the ground and crouched, motioning Beldur beside her. "Look, I need you to get to Ferelden, I don't care how, just do. You know where I used to live before you met me? I want you to meet me up there, okay? Teleport there, bring her with you. I don't need you or her here, you guys will just slow me down." She told him, trying to sound harsh, it was the truth there. She needed him gone and it was because if she didn't suceed, she didn't want them to have her blood too. She saw the fight starting to come on but she placed a finger over his lips before he could say anything. "I need you to trust me Beldur, okay? I know what I'm doing, I'll see you soon, I promise. Keep a low profile and don't leave the house, my father should still be with the other Grey Wardens so don't fret about that." She whispered, removing her finger from his lips and gave him a kiss, letting all the passion leak in. If this was her last kiss, she would be happy.

She turned around, her knuckles red from clutching the dagger and sneaked back into the room, letting the shadows guide her. If she were lucky, this would all play out the way her mind imagined it to.
