Lance nodded once, giving R a two-finger salute, and then placing the small monitor back into his pocket. Lance turned, pulling out his communicator and contacting Rio for pickup. A few seconds after dialing, a beam of light washed over him, and he was transported back into the Vanguard.

Lance's eyes opened, surveying the people around Him. He barely noticed Hal leaving the room, and when Lance did, a darkness consumed his eyes, followed by an immediate recolor of his pupil. His eyes remained red for a moment, but he blinked a few times, and they returned to their natural golden color. Lance turned to Ridly. "Where's he off to so quickly?". Lance then turned too Kylli after receiving an answer from Ridly. "Hey, I know you. You were in that Bar when that drunk decided to cause trouble. Where'd you just come from anyways, finish a Mission?". Lance glanced at Bec, whom he also recognized from the Bar. He was tempted to just leave and go straight for the Deposit Box, but that'd look suspicious.
