Beldur caught the daggers and scrambled up looking around he then sat on the bloodied groundit a meditating position, back straight and legs crossed. every few moments his ears twitched as he strained his hearing to extend the distance. heaving the muffling and the footstep coming from vin. when she returned he smiled gratefully to her and then look puzzled by what she was saying. "a teleport spell?" there was no such thing but before he could respond vin nearly pounced on him as they kissed, when she turned beldur did perhaps the worst thing he would ever do in his life.

he snuck up and put one knife to her back the other to her throat making her listen to him he whispered in her ear "what do you think your doing? you want to go save her? i wont allow it vin. there is no such thing as a teleport spell. im surrpised at how little you know of magic. your a smart girl. but as your senior grey warden you are under my authoirty and i refuse to let this pass. and as the man who is completely inlove with you i refuse to let this happen, i fear for your safety. they wont kill you. they need you it seems. something about our blood. they will capture you and torture you for your blood and that wont happen. you have been hurt too much for my liking recently and your going to rest.....like it or not" he sounded extremely sad at the end of his sentance "im sorry, my love" he whispered in a pained voice before doing what he thought was unthinkable. he pulled the knife from her throat and struck the hilt on the back of her head, if it didnt knock her out if would at least stun her, then he whispered an incantation and shifted into a spider webbing both vin and the dalish mage into a tightly wrapped cocoon he then carried the cocoon up high on the wall hidden from the other spiders, he knew he would have to try and save the girl and so he thought on how to do it. his dalish magic was his most powerful weapon. he could perhaps shapeshift into a horde of bugs like he did so before, but no...that was his main way of escape. a dragon would be too cramped. and spiders would be too weak.

however he did know of the vines spell. he looked back and saw a tree he could do the tree travel spell to flee with the girl if he could get to her. the vines he hoped would trap the darkspawn long enough for him to get the girl out then he could return for vin and the mage. he hung onto the cocoon. shifted back into his normal form and kissed vin on the lips. a kiss that was saddened before he dropped down and braced himself. if he got caught there were two ways he could get out. and neither of them were pleasent
