"I love you, Kain"
The words repeated in Kain's mind as he watched her smile. This indeed made him smile back at her as well.
"How will this work?" Kain heard her ask. He turned to her with a serious look in his eyes and spoke.
"I don't know, Evangelina, but with what power i have, We'll make it work someday... somehow" He put some hope in it himself but was still wary of the situation they were in. Suddenly even though his thought just began she spoke.
[/b]"I feel like I'm living a fairytale. One minute I'm sleeping in the fireplace and the next a prince is sweeping me off my feet."[/b]
"If only, life's stories could come out as all romantical fairytales do. . . no matter. . ." Kain spoke then paused. He slid down, sitting upon the lush grass. He then took her hand gently pulling her down carefully into his lap, to hold her. As he held her gently, listening to the nature surrounding them. His worries once again fled for the moment. Although for a time, he did wonder if he may miss the time that Roxanne and him usually meet. He could only hope that she was as lucky as him at the moment. "It is odd... but do we really need marriage between Roxanne and I? Is being best friends really not enough for our parents... I know when the time comes... especially now, I very well may have to decline.." he thought as he pulled Evangelina closer to him.
"This definately didn't happen by chance but by fate, no love could be this great if it were by chance. I could ask for no one better because, she is who i embrace now... Evangelina.. . no matter the outcome, I will protect you and your family" he said gently.
