There was small conversing about who would be making the food, but before he could offer, others stepped up to the plate and he gladly moved aside to let them take the helm.
He'd smile widely at Toby's joke about him wanting tea, and laugh kindly at Xeinas attempt to stick up for him......but would purposely let the "Prime Minister" inquiry slide under the rug, as everyone suddenly became more interested in eating food.
Shawn however, wasn't hungry at the moment............and instead, excused himself as the others ate, so he could find his room.

After making his way back up the grand staircase, it didn't take long for him to find the mens hall, and then subsequently his own room, which happened to be dead last.
The door was white with gold trim and his name on the door was also surrounded by gold trim, similar to the office doors inside his house., which he always found a little too business-regal for his taste, but he shrugged his shoulders at the design and opened the door.
To say the room was beautiful would be an understatement.
Quite like his room at home, the walls were tall, the closet was roomy, the bathroom was grand, his small acoustic and electric guitar collection hung on the wall above his large bed, and the outdoor balcony was expansive. But unlike his home, he had a beautiful view of the beach...........which we admired for a moment, before placing his hat on the foot of the bed and then slowly undressing.
It wouldn't take him long to pick out a pair of black Form Athletic swimming trunks w/ red and white flames, a black WEC t-shirt and a pair of black Adidas sandals.
Once dressed, he sat on the end of his bed unsure of where to go....and much to his surprise, out of his pants pocket fell his Samsung Galaxy SII..
"Woah.....my phone?.....I wonder if i could catch a signal here........perhaps a little GPS guidance?" he thought out loud - taking a second to stare out of the balcony doors, before standing and making his way out of his room.
Within only a minute or two he had made his way back towards the front doors and slipped out of them.
The walk to the beach was brief, and familiar since he had to make a similar trek earlier.
Shawn would stop only a few feet from the tides incoming water before he held up his phone to the sky.and began to fiddle with it. But after several minutes it was obvious nothing was working......from the web, texting, gps......nothing. So after noticing his battery power was a bit low, he decided to stop trying....and slid the phone into his pocket.
He then crossed his arms behind his head and stared out into the sea, a place he loved to spend his time................it wouldn't take long for him to get lost in thought.
"Where are we?"
"Will this work?."
"Why did i sign that letter?."
"Are we missed at home?...."
".....or did this goddess find some way to stop time?"
Were all thoughts that ran through Shawn head, as he stood under the sun and enjoyed the nearly perfect weather..........warm enough to swim, but cool enough to not to be a miserable experience after half an hour.
The young fighter had half the mind to take his shirt off where he stood, drop his phone, and go for a swim......but before he could he heard an awkward sound, loud enough to scare a few birds from the tree tops.
"What the...." Shawn thought, before slowly making his way through dense tree foliage several feet to his right.
Nearly ten minutes later, he had finally made his way through the tress and out onto a piece of beach across the island.........where a long dock went out into the ocean.
"Bloody hell.......are you serious?" he said, as he made his way to the end of a dock, and up to something he hadn't seen in person for years..........a luxurious houseboat, sitting atop water at least a few hundred feet deep.
Shawn Quickly climbed aboard and began to nose around.
There were two floors, not including the roof-top.......and inside were three bathrooms, seven bedrooms, a few sitting areas, a decent kitchen, two hot tubs, nice electronics, and all other basic amenities any other "home" would have.
He then made his way outside on the boats deck, where a few table sets and a couple of grills sat.....in an attempt to see if there was any way to move the rig. But it was quickly apparent that it was inoperable, as Shawn noticed the lack of any engines, or steering room.
It was as if this boat was made to only float.........here...........for them to enjoy.......by the dock only.
