His chocolate eyes turned to the woman who was nearly dead moments before, but due to his distraction and lack of doing his duty, she was able to slip back into her body and live. With his intense look her tail began to grow back, before he turned his attention back to Anya.

"This man here," he pointed to the boy who was holding the divine sword, "is the result of cheating and corruption. He may be half and half, but his heart is filled with all that is wrong. And it will destroy this beautiful emerald planet you love," his eyes turned back to Akira. "But in that little bit of time you have fallen for him, haven't you. I get it..." he chuckled again. "Tell her Akira... tell her why you really came up from the depths of hell. Why is it that these demons hate you, and wish your death just as much as myself and the heavens?" His voice rolled over the rain and thunder, making a direct question audible to the dark angel before him and to the demons to their right. It was not often that he would talk his situation out, being the Angel of Death, but because Anya asked, he was willing to take a calmer approach to the situation.
