“Well for one the pay is good, I'm not really a man of money but the world loves it. But I digress. Two, I love adrenaline and adventure so technically this is just a huge vacation to me! That and I might have the chance to blow up something with my Composition 4 that I brought along, can't really use it legally back home!" He let out a small laugh

While he spoke, Juno sliced off another strip of her apple, listening intently on what John was saying. She liked listening to people talk, especially about themselves; that way she knew a bit more about them and could decide if she wanted to get to know them better.

“I’m sorry, you must think I am weird but like my daddy used to say 'Life is too short to be normal’," John winked," So what’s your reason for being here?"

Juno thought a moment, lips puckered in a slight pout as memories flashed through her mind of her father demanding her to take the offer.
“There’ll never be a chance like this. You have to do it.”
Her mother was not much better, nodding in agreement with her father.
Juno had watched her parents a moment before simply shrugging then nodding. “Sure.”

“Well...” She began, a smile on her face as she turned to look back at John “I was curious. Might as well see what there is to offer rig-“ But Juno was cut off by her other teammate Dimka speaking to John.

" Good choice in guns..." Dimka smiles a little friendlier this time yet still distant, "Maybe you won’t be a bad companion after all." Before walking off.

“Well, she seems nice.” Juno nodded, unsure whatelse to say as she looked up, listening to what David said through the intercom.

“That’s fine-“ But again Juno was cut short as the lights shut off, a soft chuckle exhaling her slender form. “I hope everyone had a light of some sort. It was nice speaking with you, John.” She bumped his knee once more before standing back up and stretching. She moved to the side of his bed, and pushed to her tiptoes; reaching for her pack.

She placed her bag of apples back in her bag and pulled out a small lightweight flashlight, already getting used to the darkness. ‘I suppose I’ll talk to the others tomorrow morning.’ She thought as she maneuvered around the bunks with a t-shirt and yoga pants tucked under her arm.
She didn’t really need a place to change, being perfectly comfortable where she was, but she thought it polite to leave the room and find someplace else to get comfortable.
Juno stepped out of the room and took a left into a shallow nook, quickly changed into her comfortable clothes, and moved back into the room; pushing to her tiptoes to place her old items in her bag. Smoothing her shirt over her exposed stomach, Juno jumped back into her bunk and laid back, eyes closed as she relaxed not yet sleeping.
