She leans over and gives her foster dad, Jeff, a quick kiss on the cheek. "See you when I see you, Jeff." I say quietly, opening the door to his Lamborghini and jumping out. I ran towards the school, not wanting to get my clothes soaked. I actually hated my outfit, but I had to wear it since I was coming from my parents stupid pent house and my mom would kill me if I wore my normal clothes. My 'parents' lived far from the school, so they had checked me in go be staying AT the school all year. I checked in at the front office and headed towards the dorm building I was assigned. I had been assigned a double dorm room, so it had a kitchen and small living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. But I didn't have a roommate yet so I had it all to myself, least I hoped. I walked into my room and threw my bags onto my bed, walking into the bathroom and giving myself a one over. I looked like -

-this. I decided to just change into pjs. It was warmish outside so I had on a long white tee and a pair of black skinny jeans.

I skated around the corner and faintly saw the school in the distance. After a minute or so I was finally there. I walked inside, checked in at the office and got my schedule. The rain was starting to get rather heavy outside. Holding onto my skateboard as I ran towards the part of the school my locker was at. It was near my first period class. Upon entering I shook myself, running my hand through my hair to try and get all the water off of me. I walked towards my locker and shut my skateboard, my messenger bag, and everything but the first half of my days things. My locker was near the front of the school, and I was somewhat happy knowing that it was going to be rather easy to skip school with this advantage. And after I saw a group of jocks with cheerleaders fawning over them, after they had given me the stink eye, I thought about how'd I'd probably be skipping a lot of school this year. I faintly could hear wheels on the sidewalk and I turned my head to try and catch a view of the skateboarder. I could always tell the sound of skate wheels to anything else.
