There was movement all over the room. Juno listened with interest as the man she didn’t know shuffled around in his bed. ‘Not the quietest’ she thought as a frown finally made appearance for the first time the entire day.

She continued to inhale and exhale slowly, attention focused on the moving John. ‘Where’s the other guy and that one girl…’ She thought.

John whispered, “Juno, you scared? Need me to cuddle with you?" He chuckled again.

Juno blinked at the bluntness of his words, eyes immediately focused on the other man, as pale cheeks flushed with colour. She released a light chuckle and rolled onto her back, hands pressed back flat against the wall behind her head as she stretched her body out, and exhaled a soft sigh before answering John; gaze on the door.
“You’re far too kind, John, worrying over me like you do.” She pushed to a sit, legs crossed in front of her and her hands in her lap. “But fear isn’t something I’m accustomed to...” Juno paused then, head tilted to the side as a smile played across her lips. “Are you scared, John? Would you like me to cuddle with you?”

Juno knew she should act more professional but he was being friendly, and he seemed to be the only one -excluding herself- not stuck in a dark world of their own; keeping everyone at arms length. So she would be friendly right back.
