Ai's gaze shifted to Ruki, and he just stared at her for a brief moment. He whispered rather angrily in her ear. "I caught myself. Buzz off. You're just mad because I was speaking of the cat, well, I'm tired of him being left out." Ai stopped whispering and crossed his arms. "Excuse me, Miss Umeko." Ai said, as he made eye contact with the rat.

"It's my choice to talk to someone if I want. You do not control me except Raiden-sama. I'm tired of being an outcast, and atleast Miss Umeko had the nerve to walk up to me and talk, because normally, we'd be ignored!" he yelled, his squeaky voice echoing through the walls. Ai was taking her warning the wrong way: Ruki was right. Ai shouldn't be speaking about the curse, or else, he'd be in trouble, and doom them all. He was just too oblivious.

"I'm tired of just sitting in solitude! And probably the only reason why you came up to me and said this is because I was speaking about Mikuo! It's because everybody hates him, that's why! You're all stereotypical, like a giant organization whom specializes in negativity towards a single person! Am I not allowed to talk closely to someone? Does it matter if I only tell one person? If they can keep it, they can know it. If Raiden-sama doesn't respect that, then oh well, I'll get slapped across the face and probably forced to live there." Panting from his sudden outrage, he grabbed Tsukamoto's hand and began walking off.

"Come on, Miss Umeko. Let's speak somewhere else."

Ai totally took that the wrong way. Well, after all, he was a bit ignorant.
