When Wolfwood burst in the room after Milly dropped the bowl, she turned abruptly at his voice of concern. "Oh..." she said as she started to try to pick up bits and pieces of bowl on the floor and mop up the soup with the towel she had brought with her. "It's nothing Nicholas really, it's just Mr. Knives here has been unconscious for sometime and it was a surprise to see him awake" she didn't want to aggravate Knives. She didn't know if he was set off whether he could become a threat or not.

Knives watched the young woman as she dropped the tray she was carrying on the floor he assumed she was bringing the food to him. He sighed what could he do to this woman in his state of physical being right now, his limbs stiff and weak, his voice dry and strained from disuse. "I.. suppose that... was ... my breakfast" said Knives in a low tone of voice less dry but just above a whisper. At this point there was no gain in harming anyone even if he might have wanted to he didn't have the strength to do anything. It would have pleased him to no end to pull out a gun and mow them all down and find Vash and do the same, but that thought kept being interrupted by the sound of Rem's voice saying "Give them a chance Knives". "Very well I'll give them a chance Rem, but I can't promise you anything" he thought.

Rini smiled "Wow that one hell of name you got there, but I appreciate any help I can get. So you say you know Plant technology then you must know that they're are living beings powering Gun Smoke" she said as she lead them back to the dig site. "Thats part of the reason why I'm doing this, it's wrong for the human race to live off the lives of these beings without a second thought. To butcher and murder them just to get every last drop we can and then throw what left away like some bit of rubbish and then replace the battery. Its mass genocide..." she said as her voice trailed off. "Hey miss Rini who is this" Raul said as Rini walked up with the couple. "Its alright Raul they're with me" she said with a smile.

Meryl chuckled a bit at Rini's comment about Vash's name, she couldn't believe that he had come up with all that just for his name. The first time she had heard him say it she had thought about just slapping him in front of everyone on the bus. Nobody could have a name that long. Then Rini became dark and almost distant as she described the process of the "Final Run". The only reason that Meryl was familiar with this because her father worked for the Plant in December till he retired. Her father often said that he saw things at the Plant that he wish he could have unsaw. "So have you seen anything unusual here?" Meryl asked.

"So have you seen anything unusual here?" Rini turned back to mans wife. "Well I found this old tattered coat just blowing around but I wouldn't call that unusual could have come from anywhere. But that's what digging is for".
