"Yeah, I prefer the burnt 'toast' as you call it," she dropped down from the window sill and into the apartment then walked up to Lyela with the toast stuck in her mouth while she removed the other slice from her head, "I'll follow you."
Ripley was taller then Lyela and obviously much more muscularly developed but around Lyela she felt safe even though it should be the other way around. Ripley kept eating her toast like a toddler so that her mouth was full and she was unable to talk or feel any need to blush from embarrassment.

Great, the fire alarm, and I was almost done with my laughing potion, too! Simona was disappointed to have to follow the very classmates that made her life miserable out of the school.
They were all lined up like cattle getting ready to be butchered alive and the teachers had to call out everyone's names. Simona hated that, she knew it was a safety thing, but come on! They're kids, not lost puppies with name tags! When Simona's name was called out she raised her had and said 'yes', everyone laughed for no reason (as usual) when they called out her name and then they turned back to their own foolish business.
