Sarius felt the thriller rush he always came to expect from a good fight when the quarian stepped in and blocked his blade before he could reach the human. He pushed the omni-blade that blocked him away before taking a quick step back. "And here I was hoping we could be friends. Then again-" He deactivated the blades and drew the rifle off his back in a split second, aiming it at the quarian with only his right hand hand. "-you seem like the soft type." He was a split second from pulling the trigger when his free hand's omni-tool went off and the sound of a very worried AI echoed around the room. "Sarius, we have a big, big problem!" The turian aimed his gun down and brought up the omni-tool to his face before he started yelling.

"Damn it, Charon! You just cut me off from a dramatic one liner/shoot dead combo! How many times do I have to tell you-" The AI cut him off as he exclaimed, "You have less time than I calculated, Alliance military personnel are going to be there in exactly-" The sound of a weapon being drawn and a human yelling from right behind cut it short. Sarius looked over his shoulder and saw a human holding a shotgun right at him. "Thanks for the head-up, idiot..." he mumbled before he turned the tool off and switched the munitions charger on the rifle off before dropping it. "Alright, alright, don't shoot," he said as he slowly turned to face the human with his hands up, his voice heavy with sarcasm and the overall feel of just not caring. "I got enough scars as it is, topping them off with holes might start hurting."
