Jace
Jace woke up with a yawn he had fallen asleep in his dog form on the spring mattress that just had a sheet on it. He yawned and looked around no one was in his room this time around. The"Home" as he knew it wasn't as crowded as it usually was during this time. Since Jace knew sometimes new strays could pop up at any time it wasn't uncommon to find a new roommate early in morning. However, no one was there just him all alone in his mostly empty room. This is the way he liked it for the most part since it was peace and quiet.
Jace got up from his bed and transformed into his human dog form to take a shower. When he was in this form he especially love to take a nice warm shower. This helped soothed his ache muscles and calmed his buzzing head of his memories. Dark memories of his past of him killing other dogs and none stop dog fighting. He walked to his bathroom and turned on the water. The steam began to fill up the tiny bathroom as Jace undressed for a shower. As the warm water hit Jace he sighed with relief as he began to wash himself with his usual "Forest Green Flea Remover for Dogs."
For the most part he knew he didn't have fleas, but still why take that risk. Jace especially made sure to scrub his tail since his fluffy tail usually was under attack by the pesky parasites. After his good long shower, he then brushed his tail to avoid mats in his tail fur. That was usually the only part of his fur that he would brush other wise Jace would let it air dry. He then began to get dressed he put on his usual human clothes a pair of medium wash jeans, a plain black t-shirt that covered his many scars across his body from dog fights and his owner. Then his shoes that were some old tennis that he found and finally his black patch around his right eye since it was no longer existent. He then head down stairs to see who was up and if breakfast was available.
Moss
Moss woke up with cat like grace and a small yawn. The young cat lifted himself from his bright red covers that he had slept under. His bright green hazel eyes looked around to see no one was there. "Awww!" Moss complained. "No one is here today with me." His ears flatten sadly and his tail was low. Usually Moss would find someone new in his room and an opportunity to meet with someone new. It didn't take long for him to bounce back to his usual happy self though.
He got up quickly and took a shower. Not one of his favorite thing to do, but he had to since his human-cat form produced an odor that most humans found offensive. The shower didn't take long at all as Moss wanted to hurry up and head down stairs. He maybe able to find someone to play with or a new place to go exploring in the garden. After a ten minute shower he dried himself and brushed his tail and hair a process that took a bit longer since he enjoy grooming himself.
Once Moss completed this ritual he got dressed. Pulling out a bright red magenta shirt that was a little to big for his small frame. Since this was the only shirt that fit him decently, he then put on some light blue shorts and his brown sandals. Moss then raced down stairs into the lobby and then raced to the kitchen. He began to dart all over the place saying good morning to everyone, but failed to hear the response if they did respond. After all Moss was overly energetic as usual.
