Lucas sat in the sand on the beach pouring sweat his father handed him a bottle of water "Looking good son" his father said with a happy smile looking down at the stop watch in his hand. Lucas and his father had been up since five and his father had put him to work by six. First he had done his usually warm up routine working out in the home gym, his father had made one in the basement of the cabin last time they were here. That had taken a hour to complete then him and father played a little one on one basketball in the front of the house for a little over an hour. Afterwards his father made him do high knees, calf walk, lunge walk, sideways running, and backwards running on the beach for two hours. And now Lucas sat in the sand drinking the cold water after jogging around the boardwalk for the past hour his father looked down at him "I'll let you chill out for about a hour or so I have to run into town and pick up a couple of things for the cabin" Lucas just nodded as he finished his water.

Standing up he followed his father into the house through the backyard entrance the two walked upstairs together then separated going into different rooms. Lucas was tired not so much from the workout but more so from the lack of sleep, considering what he had done today he knew his father had taken it easy on him. He opened his dresser and took a fresh pair of clothes then he went and took a shower, after getting out he put on the change of clothes and went downstairs. His father had already left and his mother not being an earlier riser was still asleep upstairs. He took out two pieces of bread and stuck them in the toaster while the bread toasted Lucas got the butter and another bottle of water out of the fridge. After his toast was ready he buttered it put it on a plastic plate returned the butter to the fridge and then he left the house with his toast and water and went back out to the beach.
