Battle answered Cody's qustion by raising her head and took a giant swig of whiskey. Making a thumping sound again by dropping it on the table, her ears flicked backwards as she heard Cody say something. Risking a glance upwards, which caused her head to ring, she saw humans. A growl started in her throat which quickly faded as she took another drink of Whiskey. After swallowing, she stiffened and was suddenly very aware of everything. Standing up so fast the chair tipped over. The whiskey fell out of her hands and shattered on the floor, but she ignored it and staggered out of the room.
More came. Not good. The thought came and went just as Battle ran into a tree, gripped the bark and vomitted beside the trunk of the tree. All she can think of now was the foul taste of puke mixed with beer. After awhile, she was able to stop and started heading away from the house.
