Molly sat staring into the fire, wondering when her mind would start to decay. It wouldn't be long, now. Last night she had had terrible dreams about burning, and that usually happened when her hallucinations were about to start. Or they could just be normal dreams. There was no way to tell yet. But when they did happen, who could she go to? Deirdre? Keisuke? Saeko? Probably not. She would just have to wait and see, and she hated waiting.

She looked over at the sound of movement at the door. There was Tahra again. "Oh, hi there!" Molly said, trying not to make it sound like she was talking to a child. It didn't work. "What's your name? I didn't quite catch it last time."
