He whispered quietly, a wicked smile forming on his face. "Yes, I should do that, it would be such an interesting experiment." He could feel the Madness welling, something wasn't right, he should be able to control the Madness. Franken shook his head. "No, then I'd have no one to teach, no one who could take the mantle of dissection and experimentation." He tilted his head in thought. "I only need one student to do that..." He turned to Tanja. "You know what, I think I've changed my mind. The lines on the board are no longer an option. Dissect him or you both will fail the class." Had he really just said that? He started to say it was a joke but the Madness was boiling and he choked on the words. What's going on?

Spirit regained his composure, or at least tried to. "Kami, it's been a while, Yes, I'm doing all right, so is Maka... I think" Here he was trying to sound like the good father who knew what his daughter was up to, but unfortunately, having not talked to Maka in a while, he had no idea what she was doing with herself.
