"I don't really remember" She said out loud. She had some flashes from the night before. "I remember a fire... And waking up in the hospital." She grabbed her side which had her worst burn. She tried to smile through the pain but knew Cody could see her hurting. She glanced back at Cody. "So why were you coming out of the nurses office?" She questioned him. As they kept walking down the hall she looked in all the windows to see a familiar teacher. Suddenly Veronica stopped dead in her tracks. She saw Natasha. Natasha had always been mean to her, well that was in grade 9. Natasha got up from drinking from the water fountain and saw the two down the hall. She braced herself for what Natasha would say. "Hey V! Sorry I didn't go to the party last night... You look so tanned! Who's your friend? Oh well I gotta get back to class, text me later?" As soon as she finished talking she started walking away. Veronica blinked and watched the girl walk down the hall. "Wow." She said under her breath.
