"Alright," she responded as she urged him out the door.
They climbed into her car and she sped away from the house, the handgun tucked between her legs as she drove.
"Well, I took this one for you, just in case," she said as she grabbed the gun and tossed it into his lap, "Looks like you already have one though, but two is always more gun."
She winked at the boy, her nerves were written all over his face as she sped through the city.
"Relax, this car is untracable, and the windows are tinted," she said tapping the dark glass she was resting her knuckles against, "I don't fool around when it comes to shit like this, so you don't have to be so antsy."

The city was barely visible as they passed by looming buildings, she swerved around other cars in her way, and sped through lights. Once they were out of the city she rolled down her window and lit up again, the car humming as she continued racing toward the country side.
"So are you just gonna sit there silently? Damn I am your aunt after all..." she urged the boy to speak, knowing they still had a little while before they reached the country home.
