Trin let her long black hair fall down her back and smiled as Jinx barked once at her. She turned to see that her faithful friend was giving her his puppy dog eyes as if pleading her not to leave him with her father. Jay shook her head at the German Shepard. "Oh it's only one night, ya big baby." Trin patted his head and slung a large sweatshirt over herself at to hide the short shirt she was wearing. She patted Jinx's head again and ran down the stairs and out the back door, yelling up to her dad, "I'm goin' out with Sca'ny, Dad." She could hear her father's angry screaming, behind her, but she was already out the door and walking down the street.

The party had started a short while ago, but Trin knew the night was still young. She headed in the direction of the barn, the place she had spent so many nights with her best friend and a couple of cute guys. She smiled to herself as the barn came into view and she could hear the booming base inside. She quickly pulled off her large sweatshirt, flung it into a hay bale, and headed inside. She had only taken a few steps into the barn when she spotted Scarny going to sit on the stairs. Trin smiled and headed for her friend before she danced with any guys. A few guys tried to pull her into a dance and Trin smiled, told them she would be back later, and slipped out of their grasp. She was shorter than many of the people there, and having so many years of dancing under her belt, it was easy for her to dart and weave her way in and out of the masses of bodies. She finally made it to Scarny and laughed at her friend, not seeing Liam standing behind her. "What's good, sexy lady?" Trin asked, bouncing over to Scarny.
