Alfred leaned back, and Lucian's grab missed him. He stumbled a little, but regained his footing a few steps from Lucian. He pulled out his pistol, and fired several rounds at the vampire in hopes of at least hitting him once or weakening his block on Dog. Alfred wasn't aware that Dog's real name was Damian.
When he had to reload, he just holstered the pistol and went back for another slash with his katana.
