Nate was already awake and out of the Palace into Snowflake City, something his family would disaprove of on a day of such importance like today. He honestly shrugged the whole Guardians matter off, he knew he was expected to be there and he knew he was going to be there. Perhaps he could be fashionably late? No that would not be proper to be fashionably late to an event such as this. 'Ah what shall I do?' Nate thought to himself while passing a few food stands, his stomach rumbled as he passed by a few more stands. "I will eat first, then think." Nate mumbled under his breath.
As he walked in search of food he noticed he had all his weapons equipped on him and he was in his fanciest attire, perhaps he felt insecure? No the Guardians were here to protect him, they were here to protect everyone. But what if someone wanted to assassinate the Guardians? No that's a stupid idea, someone would have to be insanely stupid or insanely strong to even attempt it. Nate shook his head to get the thoughts out before he got a headache from over-thinking things, something he would occasionally do.
He had skipped breakfast for reasons that he himself didn't even know so he passed by a few more stands until one finally drew him in, it was a food stand that sold already cooked meat. The smell of Barbecue, Dried pork and other assorted meats drew him in. "Whoa to what honor do I have?" The man that owned the stall quickly said. "None, I'm hungry and I simply stopped by to get some food. I would like five pieces of dried beef and is that garlic bread? I would like One fourth of a loaf of garlic bread." Nate said stuffing his hand into his pocket. He took out a handful of coins and put them on the wooden stall. "Keep the change." he said taking the Garlic bread and Beef. Nate liked buying from smaller stores instead of buying imported goods from already rich people.
Whilst stuffing his face full of the over-seasoned garlic bread he bumped into the back of someone, he dropped the garlic bread but that didn't matter, he looked up and saw who he bumped into. He had black hair and was a lot older than Nate however he was only about four or five inches taller than him. "Hey watch yourself!" Nate said trying to sound like a brat.
