Erlin let out a sigh as she seemed to have brightened her mood from before, apparently excited. He could hear her make a stumbling sound over the ground before having a smile that was wide and seemed far too cheerful. A certainly bubbly and happy character, isn't she?[i] He couldn't help thinking to himself on how happy a girl she was if when people got along with her. Well, as 'getting along' as Erlin could try to accomplish. He felt extremely awkward in the presence of this girl who seemed to be ready to explode out of pure joy. [i]“My name is Anaee Reddings.” She introduced herself, and he paused before replying back, "Erlin. Erlin Sebille." Despite the quiet tone he had, he carefully pronounced his name with every syllable that was meant to be pronounced with each odd sound that didn't always seem to match up with the letters.
He kept walking, face forward, a slight tilt towards his new apparent companion as she cheerfully made conversation. “S-So what’s the name of the café? What’s your favorite food there?” Erlin sighed inwardly, keeping a straight face outwards. Why couldn't she be quiet, and just merely be happy to herself? Not everyone shared his same ideals, and so, he had to deal with it. He was, after all, the one who brought this onto himself. "The cafe's name is Shori Kibe. I don't have a favorite." He doesn't bother to politely ask her if she had a favorite. They continue walking, and she seems to have gone quiet. Erlin, not minding the sudden bout of silence, keeps walking forward, but stops when he hears the girl call out to someone. “W-Would you like to join us for lunch?” He stops to turn around, ready to ask as to just what was she doing, before catching sight of the black haired boy from earlier. He's merely staring. What.. Is everyone stalking each other all of a sudden? He quickly shoos those thoughts away, as it was quite rude. ".. Really, small world this is." He states, sighing, unaware that he had meant for that to be thought instead of spoken, but doesn't really think too much on it.
He watches Anaee waving her arm at the black haired boy, who seems to have been a distance away. Erlin walks ahead, but he stops to wait for the girl after walking away several steps. He had invited her to go the damn cafe, after all. He was just resisting the urge to just go ahead and leave her behind, but he can't find himself to put his legs to do it. The sad expression on the girl's face earlier kept coming to mind. That girl must be some sort of demon in disguise to have acting skills like that. Whatever it is she's after, it better be worth it, and quick. He shoves his hands in his pockets, the bag still being awkwardly held. He slouches slightly, straightening his arms and legs that tilt slightly while he's standing, balancing on the ground with slightly shaky posture, as he tries to stuff his face into the over-sized scarf of his again. This slow torture is killing me. Had better damn be worth trying to kill me over. Had he forgot to mention that he wasn't really in a good mood today? He glances over to the horizon where the sun was still present, no expression easily told was present in his eyes that were beginning to dull over. So much sun and light..
