The clash of the titans was stopped only just long enough for a veritable God to make it's presence known. The being swelled with power as it loomed over the others. It looked down at the group before it with hate and a hunger for destruction. It spoke in a voice that chilled to the very core and shook the soul. The sound of its words like a herald of the end of all things. Standing before it was The Last Son of Krypton, The Man of Steel, Superman. He had made a career of standing in the face of oblivion and staring back into it's depth without fear. To be the one willing to fight at the end of the world. He'd fought against Darkseid when he led his denizens of Apocalypse to set the earth aflame. He'd battled Braniac when he sought to enslave all life. He'd fought so many times and refused to quit. It was one of the things that made him great. Not his powers or what he could do but what he stood for. It was that intangible quality. His refusal to submit. His unwillingness to compromise. He always found a way because that's who Superman was. He stood now staring up at the massive entity and his fists clenched. Venom roared out in challenge to the being and Superman stepped into the air, floating just beside him. As he took up his position the others did the same. All but one turned to confront it. Spider Woman's whose mind had unhinged either due to the Dark Entity's influence or in spite of it. She however was not the true threat here. Superman's eyes centered on the threat before turning and looking down at Venom.

"Hey Venom... Let's go save the world."

He said with a bold smile. With that he turned and rocketed at the massive being.
