"Hey Taiki, would you mind working the night for me? I got a movie to go see with a group of friends, and you know how hard it is for me to get a girl, right? Okay thanks."
"But I didn't... oh well, it's not like I had plans although I will miss the new episode of Mongol Dynasty." Taiki continued stocking the store, completely alone. No one ever came to "Sushi Banzi!" at night. They hardly came in the morning. If only he didn't give up his job and the "Store of Dreams." It wasn't a glamorous job, but he did get to be where people were and maybe have a conversation with some of them. This job did pay more and he wanted the money, not to mention the occasional left overs.
"I can't complain, sure Banzie isn't the best co-worker and he rarely comes to work on time, doesn't help around very much, but he's the only close friend I have. A friend is supposed to help them when they need it, and he does help me. Like that time- umm... he- why am I even talking to myself. I have to prepare for customers." Taiki walked out into the front. No one was there obviously. This gave him a chance to wipe off the tables a few times.
The fact that a sushi restaurant was open 24/7 with a work force of about 4 people boggled the mind. The motto was, "If we're open all the time, sooner or later we'll be the only restaurant open and people will have to eat here."
