Kyra made a coughing sound in the back of her throat which ended in a odd deep throaty sound. She closed her eyes, once, twice....
You need to learn how to balance yourself! The man who was also part tiger, with the scar on his face roared at her as he kicked her right leg out from under her. The smaller and younger version of Kyra yelped as she fell backwards. The staff in her hands clattered on the floor beside her. The man with the scar on his face was the one who took her away from her sister Katherine in the car crash that her parents had purposely set up. Hah! Krista your such a klutz! The voice came from a younger and smaller version of Kishan as he walked over with a black staff in his hands.
Kishan twirled the staff in one hand while smirking as he stared down at the younger Kyra. Several other children came up from behind Kishan, all of them holding a staff. The children were ranging from the ages five to eight and all of them were apart of the Amur project. Did I tell you lot to stop?! No I did not! Thats 120 more sit ups for this evening and a five mile run! The children groaned and frowned and got back into their stances as Kyra got back onto her feet...
Kyra snarled as she relived that memory. Her trainer had made her strong now, she wasn't weak anymore... She didn't die like the rest of the children that didn't survive the final phase of Project Amur...
