Luthais Rae

Hold itâŠHold itâŠKeep goiiiiiingâŠNow release.
Luthais breathed heavily as he sighed, having been up for a few hours now. Weather it was down to excitement, or nerves, he wasnât sure why his body tingled a little, his heart beating quickly, and of course as to why his palms were a little sweaty. But quite frankly, when he got down to it, Luthais didnât care that much. As usual heâd gotten little sleep, yet was still expected to perform at full function and carry on as if everything was perfect.
For a few moments he quietly gazed at his tired persona evident in the mirror, and noticed how knackered he truly looked. Despite all his attempts to hide his ever more noticeable black eyes it all felt rather pointless, although Luthais never gave up on hope. His mother often nagged him before he left the house if anything was out of place, as being a student at Masuta Academy was an important thing.
âAh, well. Canât do much else, though donât suppose I look too bad.â He muttered quietly.
Quickly he fluffed his hair a little, itâs dull grey tangles flopping down against his shoulders. Often, at times, his mother would suggest to tie it up somewhat, though Luthais was determined to seem more manly, and not so much flimsy. After all, he wasnât the most bulkiest of guys, nor held much else.
Glancing around his eyes caught note of the time, remembering at that moment that classes began at eight oâclock, and also realizing it was just leaving seven oâclock. Dammit. Though being up early, that didnât mean he enjoyed it, nor wished to spend most of his time at the Academy. Alas, however, today was his first day back at Masuta Academy and showing up late was just out the question, despite everything.
âRight, thatâs me off! Bye!â He called while stumbling out his room, trying to be quick and elegant, but evidently loosing to his speed. Thankfully he caught himself and managed not to fall, while heading down the hall and dashing out the front door. The boy had been up that early that heâd been ready to leave for almost four hours in advance, as when he did eventually leave some of his anxiety slightly lifted from his shoulders, and Luthais actually got a little excited.
Before, his mother reminded him to grab his backpack, or else he wouldâve been halfway down the street before noticing. And with that little problem taken care of, Luthais mentally prepared himself for the day ahead. He knew already he would have to be someoneâs butler, and could only hope that individual was nice. As he himself hadnât really ever been a butler, or anyone of that sort. It was sure to be, if anything, an interesting dayâŠ

You are kind, you are nice, and you are caring. Remember that!
Dail mentally nagged himself to no end, trying to remember his manners and above all else, remembering to just be nice. His mind often done the talking, and usually left himself to deal with the consequences later on. But now was the time to get a grip on all these nasty habits, and seal them away, forever.
Smile. You remember what that is, right? Just donât bear the fangs.
He stared adoringly at himself in the mirror, eyeing up his entire attire before pulling away and pacing through his room in a rather panicked manner. Though it wasnât the whole first day scenario that got to him, it was the fact that he lacked a degree of self control when it came to beingâŠnice. In a way he felt sorry for whoever would take him as their butler, not that he was deliberately hard to handle, but rather he was just stubborn, and didnât take kindly to orders, to an extent.
Deep breaths. Count to ten. Walk it off.
Ah, if only those self-help methods actually worked. Dail put quite a few calming down exercises to the test, and won. But that was the problem. He wasnât suppose to! Shaking his head he quickly ignored all thoughts of doubt that lingered within him, and instead thought of more happier occasions.
In amongst getting everything ready he occasionally patted down his pale shaded hair, trying to keep it neat, though loose. If that could ever make sense. At times heâd sneak back to the mirror and try to perfect expressions, mainly smiling and laughing. After all, he wanted to seem normal.
âAlright, itâs time,â Dail huffed with slight insecurity. âNo time like the present.â
He picked up his backpack and threw it over his shoulder, gripping it tightly with one hand, while resting the other in one of his pockets. After ensuring all was not forgotten, and that he was prepared for any given scenario, the boy left his room confidently and headed for the door, briefly in-between saying his goodbyes to his grandfather, before eventually leaving the house entirely and making his way to Masuta AcademyâŠ

Ackley Bee

âYes, mother.â Ackley sighed, repeating the same line over and over.
âNow, you promise to take it easy and not overexcite yourself?â His mother asked, showing an overly concerned nature that was surely growing annoying to the boy. However, he was use to it. Very.
âAgain, yes mother.â
âIf you need help youâll ask for it, wonât you?â
âUh-huh.â
âCall us if it gets too much?â
âOf course.â
âAnd--â
âMother, enough. Iâm a big boy and can take care of myself.â He silenced the woman swiftly, patting her shoulder softly before escaping her grasp once more. âI must go now.â
It was nearing quarter past seven, and Ackley knew his mother would hold him there for another week if she could get away with it. But fortunately he had grown use to this and often managed to escape, or else he feared he may not have a life, dare say if his mother got her way.
âBye mother, and say my goodbyes to father.â Unfortunately his father was away on business, and even more unfortunate that his mother was not. Pulling his dark toned hat down tightly against his skull the boy made sure to button up his matching coat, that was too dark and rather lifeless. Combined with his pale skin complexion he was almost represented as a mini grim reaper, to others amusement.
âGoodbye.â Finally, he was leaving.
The chauffer came and escorted the boy to their family car, which would be used to drive him to Masuta Academy, despite living rather close by. Hopping inside he got comfortable, quickly sorting himself out and ensuring he had everything. Although it was hard for him not to forget anything as his mother constantly appeared with things for the boy to take with him. Like now, as he dauntingly stared at the woman running up to the to car with books in hand. Oh noâŠ
âHoney, you forgot these?â She sighed while opening the door widely, before ramming the books into his backpack. âYou know you canât sleep without a good story, silly. And I know how you adore your romance ones.â
Ackley blushed a little before closing the door, making sure his mother was not in his personal space anymore. After that he faked a smile and looked to the driver.
âDrive! Quickly now!â He snapped, still bearing an awkward smile. The car sped off immediately as it headed for Masuta AcademyâŠ
