Feral lowered her head dramatically at the loss of her only hope of food. Now what? The boy with the bandana suddenly appeared uncomfortably close to her. She blinked her eyes slowly and backed off a little. His bandana moved as he talked and she watched the movement instead of looking into his eyes.

"You've got a very unique power missy. Don't let it go to waste."

"Thanks?" She said skeptically. Is he complimenting me? Finally she looked down at the book he held out to her then back at him, then back to the book. "Uh... okay?" Then he disappeared from under her nose, and finally vanish into the distance.

Suddenly, a whistling noise got her attention immediately. She looked up quickly to find Kitsune, a guy she knew from The Todds. Although she couldn't see his face, she knew it was him. The hair gave it away. Feral brought a hand over her brow to shield the sunlight while she looked up at Kitsune.

"Top o' the morning, Kit!" she yelled, waving widely with one hand. Without looking away from Kitsune on the roof, she shoved the book into the remaining guy's arms and ignored her instructions. "Got any food, buddy ol' pal?"

Even now in human form, she was visibly displaying dog-like behaviour. She paced without looking away from Kit, like an anxious pet begging for a scrap.

She was still entranced with the hope of food that she jumped when the girl had spoke up. She hadn't really said much in a while, I guess she was just taking it all in. "Uhm, have you been in a coma for the last six years?" It was a little mean to say, after all she did smell new in town. "Yeah, sorry about the food." she lied, "Dog senses go crazy for that stuff." Feral laughed as if it were the most normal thing in the world.
