Tommy looked at Cur with fierceness in his eyes, getting ready to let something that has built up in his bones for years. "Don't you talk down to me like that! Have you seen yourselves. Look at yourselves, seriously take a good look. When we first got here we were just like these people, real...sane...people. Now look at us. We eat rats and stray animals. I may have been young when the accident happened, but I remember what it was like to live outside of this town. Do you?" Tommy asked Cur as he walked closer to him.

"Wouldn't you want to go back? Sure the last person to go through the fog died, but were they on a bus? No!" Tommy said as the tone in his voice grew more irritated. "So what you're going to do is let that man return to where he belongs, where we belong and if you're to stubborn to even try to go home than so be it. But don't you try to hold us back, more importantly don't try to hold me back because you people are not my family!" Tommy screamed at them with his eyes now tearing, he turned to Elena. "You're not my mother!" He yelled to her, then turning to Cur. "And you sure as hell aren't my father" Tommy yelled at him before walking closer to Cur before spitting in his face.
