Brooklyn looked at the boy next to her, suprised to hear another voice. "Hey... I have an idea, I can try and bite your ropes off... but if they hear you yell or anything, than we're both dead." Did she, did she actually encourage somebody to escape from failing? That was a first, she doubted she had ever helped somebody have hope to do anything. Sure enough a few moments later another girl started trying to break free. She couldn't believe it. Looking at the boy, she could tell he wasn't going to get to her ropes either. His injuries were just as bad as hers were, at least they look like it. He tried to get to her rope but fell just as she did.

Just then she heard a different sound in the other corner. There was a girl with a concrete slab. Wait, where were her ropes? She had cut the ropes off! Excited, Brooklyn tried to lift herself once more, but quickly fell again from the pain. She called over to the girl as quite as she could, "Hey, untie me!" But she also begun to hear voices in the distance. Oh great, just wonderful. They must have heard her when she got loose. Good thing Brooklyn hadn't gotten out of the ropes yet, otherwise they might think she started the idea. Granted she did, but she wasn't going to die because of it if she could just lie and live a bit longer. But her open wounds...they would know she tried to escape, at least if they were smart they would.

She swallowed the panic creeping up in her throat and tried to think. She just wanted the ropes off, just wanted out. She felt something course through her, adrenaline maybe? Whatever it was it gave her strength and she pulled herself up, biting on her lip so she wouldn't scream. She felt a something come from her lip and knew it must be blood. But she didn't care. She lifted herself and started at the knots with her teeth, making a nice substitute as something to bite on. The knots were tight, and she pulled as hard as she could. They were slowly coming undone but it wasn't fast enough.
